About PriceMyDegree

PriceMyDegree is published by PriceMyDegree Editorial, an editorial publisher operating for readers in Canada and the United States. The site turns published tuition, fees, room, board, and book costs into degree totals that a family can compare before borrowing or enrolling.

What we publish

The launch dataset covers 20 schools. Each school page shows the academic year, resident and nonresident tuition where the source publishes both, room and board, books and supplies, a one-year total, and four, five, and six-year views.

How figures are checked

School figures come from NCES or IPEDS records, College Scorecard, or a university's official published cost page. The source and verification date stay with the school record. A school is left out if the needed figures cannot be checked as one dated record.

What this site is not

PriceMyDegree is not a college, lender, admissions service, or financial aid office. It does not estimate admission chances, award financial aid, or tell a student where to enroll. Only a school can confirm a net price for a specific applicant.

Corrections

Costs change by year, program, residency, housing tier, and meal plan. Send the school page URL and the figure that looks wrong through the contact page. Reports are checked against the record named on the page.
